The Barossa & Light Table Tennis Association looks forward to your company at our "DIE BAROSSA MEISTERSCHAFT 2026 (Championship) at the Coulthard Hall, Nuriootpa High School, 1 Penrice Road Nuriootpa, on the 30th & 31stAugust 2026.

Entries open on Monday, 13th July 2026 and close on Friday, 14th August 2026.

The traditional Dinner for everyone after play on the Saturday will again be at the VINE INN HOTEL-MOTEL, Nuriootpa 5355 (08) 8562 2133, commencing at 7:30 pm.

The VINE INN HOTEL-MOTEL has been generous in their sponsorship over the years, so if you could book there for the weekend that would be very much appreciated!

Please Note - You may only enter a maximum of 6 events.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTE (PLEASE READ)
To register, you will be required to login using your National ID and Last Name. If you are not registered with TTSA as a competition player at the 'compete' or 'compete plus' level, not all the events will be listed for you to select from. For this tournament you should be registerd with TTSA, ONLY players registered at the 'compete' or 'compete plus' level will be able to enter in events, 1,2,3,4,5,18,19 & 20 (See tournament condition 1).

When you click "REGISTER"
You will be asked to enter your National ID and your Surname.
If you dont know your National ID no try clicking on "Find it Here".
If that does not work click "Contact Us' and we will get back to you
Once you have your National ID then click submit - You will receive an email with a link enabling you to select the events to enter by entering a "1".
(Dont forget to type your doubles partners name in the field that opens)

Tournament Conditions

1. Events 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 18, 19 & 20 players must be registered with TTSA at the 'compete' or 'compete plus' level.
2. Events No 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10  open to SA country players only.
3. The Meisterschaft will be played under TTSA regulations and the current laws of table tennis.
4. All events will be best of 5 advantage games to 11 points.
5.  The Committee reserves the right to cancel any event due to insufficient entries and also to determine the appropriate grading for players. 
6. In the interest of providing an even competition, a grading system will apply to Events 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 & 25. See condition 11. Grading will be at the Committee discretion.
7. Event 11, 13, 14 & 16 open Ladies & Men born 1986 or earlier.
Event 12 & 15 open Ladies & Men born before 1976 or earlier.
Event 26, 27 & 28 open to Boys and Girls under 18 as at 1st January 2026.
Event 29 open to Boys & Girls under 14 as at 1st January 2026.
Event 30 open to Ladies & Men born 1966 or earlier.
Event 31 open to Ladies & Men born 1956 or earlier.
8. Plate Event - First round losers from Event 1 will play for the plate
9. The winner of a match is responsible for returning the score card, correctly completed to the control desk.
10. An umpire, whose decision shall be final in point of fact, will control each match. The referee's decision shall be final on point of law.
11.  Players ranked in the Top Ten of the Country Carnival last year are ineligible to enter any B grade or lower event.
12. That event 32, 33 & 34 is open to all players between the ages of 18  years of age or 39 years of age as at 1st January 2026.
Players seeded in the open event between seeds 1 and 4 (incl) are excluded from entering.
13. Players playing in Metro Division 2 and above can enter  Open Only.
Players playing in Metro Division 3 - 5 can enter A Grade and Open.
Players playing in Metro under Division 5 can enter B Grade.
14.  All junior games will be  played on the Saturday.
15.  40+ white balls will be used.  Players to wear apropriate apparel.  No white shirts permitted.
16. NO CLAIM - Whatsoever will be recognised should any spectator receive injury during particpation in the Barossa & Light Table Tennis Association Championships (Die Barossa Meisterschaft).
